We will start riding along the county road reaching San Clemente, where we will turn to via Calvanella, also known as the “Boston By Way” and where different battles took place during the II World War. It was in fact the road used by partisans and allies to supply soldiers based in Montecalderaro and Montegrande. It’s a gravel road that quickly raises towards Montecalderaro (568m s.l.m.), where we will visit the remains of a beautiful church partially demolished during the war.
We’ll find ourselves on the higher point of the itinerary and to slowly start our descent reaching Agriturismo Farneto, a holiday farm where you will enjoy a typical aperitif with local products. Here, we will decide toghether whether to go back to our meeting point through a panoramic descent or through the easier “Boston By Way”
