Our tour guides will describe how and where locals lived during those hard days, in a city crushed by food shortage and air raids. Many inhabitants actually lived in cemeteries to protect themselves from the Nazis’ roundups.
During those years many air-raid shelters were built, some of them still visible today: the tour also includes the exploration to one of these underground tunnels.
The tour ends up with a visit to the Resistenza Museum, which displays pictures, posters and multimedia items related to the history of Antifascism, the Bolognese Resistenza and the Italian Republican party.
