Watch out: In order to join one of our bike tours you need to be confident in your use of a bicycle
You will understand the reason behind its porticoes, especially the one that connects the city to the Basilica di San Luca, with its 666 arches, and you will remain in awe before its old port and incredibly ancient university, the first one in the western world.
You’ll then reach Bologna’s impressive main square, Piazza Maggiore, where you’ll admire some of the most important buildings in town: Palazzo d'Accursio, the Pavaglione and Palazzo del Podestà, the amazing Basilica di San Petronio, the Fontana del Nettuno and Palazzo Re Enzo.
The tour will move towards the he symbol of the city, the Two Towers, just a short ride away, and then towards two important basilicas, the Basilica San Domenico and Basilica Santo Stefano (the latter is also known as the “Sette Chiese”), where you can admire the splendour of the medieval and Renaissance Bologna with your own eyes.

Finally, the tour includes the visit to two of its main symbols: the Archiginnasio, former seat of the University with its unique and fascinating Anatomical Theatre; and the Complex of Santo Stefano mentioned above, an extraordinary union of 7 churches of different historical periods.
