Your tour will start with a magical view of the river Po, thanks to which the city rose and developed. With our tour guides you’ll ride towards the incredible Cathedral of San Giorgio with its Romanesque and richly engraved façade, that stands right in front of the Town Council. Here you will get to know the fascinating story of the Estensi, the family who paved the way to Renaissance in Emilia.
You will ride through the narrow alleys of the former Jewish Ghetto, a community embraced and protected by the Estensi. You will cross the inspiring Via delle Volte, ancient medieval center of the city with its archways and pebbles. A stop in the Estense Castle is therefore mandatory: an extraordinary fortress that stands in the city centre still surrounded by its moat.
Riding along this amazing medieval city you will reach the famous Palazzo dei Diamanti, which takes its name from the over 8000 pyramid-shaped stones of its facade. It will remain in your memories forever as the symbol of this unforgettable experience.
